Fruits and Pie Fillings are raw-packed. This means that the jars are filled with uncooked fruit and then hot liquids are poured over them before the hot water bath to seal the jars. This preserves the original texture of the fruit for the freshest taste when the jars are opened.
Peaches are sliced into large pieces and lightly seasoned with cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and ginger. Nice side dish for chicken and fish.

This is a childhood memory. The ones currently available in stores are made with corn syrup, and I’m violently sensitive to corn products. These make me so happy! Thank you. It has been probably two decades, since I’ve had anything like this.
